Chapter & Verse Books

An independent bookstore stocking fiction, non-fiction and a growing shelf of local authors — if we don't have it, we'll try to source it for you. We've been putting books in the hands of Frazer Town readers since 2016, and our shelves are arranged the old-fashioned way: by what our staff have actually read and loved, not just by genre.

Every Saturday morning the reading corner fills up with regulars who've come to browse rather than buy — we like it that way. New shipments get unpacked on the front table where anyone can dig through the boxes before they're properly shelved.

Our monthly book club meets the first Sunday of every month, right here among the shelves — coffee's on us, and you don't need to have finished the book to show up. We pick a new title at the end of each session, alternating between fiction and non-fiction so the group doesn't get stuck in one lane.
