Terms of service
Effective 12 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Zuno World — the website, the mobile apps, and every business “world” built on the platform. By creating an account, creating a business, or interacting with a business’s world, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Zuno World.
1. Accounts
A Zuno World account is tied to a phone number, verified by one-time passcode. You’re responsible for keeping access to that phone number secure — anyone who can receive your OTP can act as you on Zuno World, including within any business you belong to.
One person may hold a Customer profile and roles at any number of businesses. Profiles are kept isolated from each other, as described in our privacy policy.
2. Businesses on Zuno World
If you create a business world, you’re responsible for the accuracy of what you publish — your business’s name, description, catalog, prices, hours and any claims made in your pages. You’re responsible for fulfilling orders and responding to customers the way your published information says you will.
Every business needs at least one owner at all times. Owners can:
- Add and remove managers and staff
- Change what each role is allowed to edit
- Change ownership of the business — demoting or removing another owner requires that owner’s consent
Managers can invite and remove staff and edit anything a staff member can. Every change any team member makes is recorded in the business’s history, visible to the rest of the team.
3. Orders and payments
When ordering is available for a business, the contract for that order is between you and the business — Zuno World is the platform the order is placed through, not the seller of the goods or services ordered. Zuno World takes a commission on paid orders as described in our pricing, deducted automatically at settlement; this doesn’t change the price a customer pays.
Disputes about an order’s quality, fulfillment or refund are between the customer and the business. We may step in where a business is misusing the platform, but we’re not a party to the underlying sale.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Zuno World to:
- Publish false, misleading, or fraudulent business information
- Sell anything illegal, or misrepresent what’s being sold
- Harass, threaten, or abuse another user through inquiries or messages
- Attempt to access another account, business, or customer’s data you’re not authorised to see
- Interfere with the platform’s operation or security
We may suspend or remove an account or a business that violates these terms.
5. Content ownership
A business retains ownership of the content it publishes — text, photos, catalog data. By publishing on Zuno World, a business grants us the licence needed to host, display, and serve that content as part of operating the platform, including on its public page and in search results.
6. Availability
We aim to keep Zuno World available and reliable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. We’re not liable for losses arising from downtime, delays, or technical issues outside our reasonable control.
7. Termination
You may stop using Zuno World and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for violating these terms, or a business world that has no active owner. A sole owner should transfer or add ownership before leaving a business, to avoid it being left without one.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. If we make a material change, we’ll update the effective date above and, where required, let you know directly. Continuing to use Zuno World after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
